In 1989 she began the study of Lomi Lomi Nui, eventually becoming an advanced student of Kahuna Abraham Kawai'i (now passed). Her passion is sharing the depth and vibrancy of this profound work with others as a vehicle for awakened consciousness. Ancient Hawaiian Bodywork allows Jody to share ancient Hawaiian Wisdom Teachings through trainings in Lomi Lomi Nui, Maika'ike and private sessions. Each form offers an opportunity to access our deeper wisdom, insight, knowing and to put it freely in to action in our lives. The beauty of this work is that, as the learning comes out of our cells, it is grounded in the body and is ours forever. Far from mental concepts of freedom, oneness, and awakening, this work provides the pathway to an embodied knowing, and therefore the ability to express them without limitation. |
